Although deep in my heart I have always dreamed of becoming a conference interpreter, after graduating in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation from the University of Milan destiny led me to the Canary Islands, at first to work and then to attended the Master's Degree in Professional Translation and Intercultural Mediation (Interpreting for Public Services) at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Such educational experience abroad, which allowed me to learn from highly qualified professors and professionals in the translation and interpreting industry but also to immerse myself in the local culture, played a key role in the development of my carrier, making me become the professional I am today.

It was during my studies in Spain that I began to get interested in audiovisual translation. Therefore, after my master's degree I attended several seminars an additional course to specialize in this field, in which I mainly work today. Specifically, I deal with the creation of subtitles and the translation for subtitling, dubbing, and voice-over of audiovisual works for streaming platforms. I'm also training in subtitling for the deaf and hard of hearing. My range of services, however, extends to additional areas.

Eager to broaden my work horizons, I also recently attended a legal translation course, which allows me to collaborate with international companies and law firms to translate legal documents.

My working languages are Italian, English, and Spanish, the language in which, thanks to my origins, I'm bilingual. The passion I have for my work and the desire to learn and improve that distinguishes me ensures that my training never stops: in fact, I continue to attend training and specialization courses in different areas (click here to learn more about my training), with which I keep up to date and can expand the range of services I offer.

Let me tell you a bit
